Syracuse, ny - round 6 group grain buy

Thank you. Sounds good, I'll keep my eye out for the good word. Saturday morning may work, it just depends on when things get started. I'm certainly not looking to inconvenience anyone.

Syracuse, ny - round 6 group grain buy

I saw the post regarding the official pick-up location, but I missed the post regarding the official pick up times. What date(s)? I assumed some Saturday coming up, but what is the time window? Also, I have to work this Saturday Feb 18th. Will there be any times Friday evening?

I'd rather do 1/4 right now, but once we hit 70+ bags and nobody jumps on it we can go to 1/3 for the close.

Count me in for 2 kegs @ $25, (In respectable condition). Possibly more if the price gets cheaper (up to 4). Also, count on me for some gas money if I can get a pick up pretty much anywhere in the Rochester, Syracuse, or Utica areas. I will be adding some grain at some point too. Thanks

What you need to know about chocolate for brewing

Sebo, Southern Tier uses a bunch of artificial extracts in their brews. Pumpking, Choklat, etc. Around here some people love the taste. Respectfully, to me they tend to taste fake. I don't know, depends on what you like. Love the post, I've made a handful of Milk Stouts. Never used Nibs, but I...

    Revolutionary EPA

Summer's been busy! I have managed to sneak some brewing in now that I have my new freezer and temp controller. I brewed 2 weeks ago, and brewing a pumpkin ale tomorrow. I received my beer score sheets from the comp which I entered the ESB. I didn't do absolutely awful. It scored a 27, the...

Looks tasty! Just curious, why the honey malt? Something different? What did you calculate for IBU's, 40-50?

Help me improve my brewery tours!

That's cool, Is there a bar inside? For instance can I relax and enjoy a pint, or tasting only? I went back and re-read your original post. I misunderstood the type of info you were looking for, sorry. I'll have to stop in for a visit. I've done the tasting job before. Its fun for sure. FYI...

Help me improve my brewery tours!

Nothing wrong with a tour, but I would avoid the doing the same hackneyed routine for every group. Because you're smaller (compared to FX Matt, Magic Hat, Boston Beer Co. ect) you have the luxury of keeping groups small enough you can tailor to individual group knowledge and needs. Doing so will...
