Brewing a Kolsch this weekend for the crawdad boil.

Ok I have at least two coming, that's 9 lbs. of crawdads. I'm getting excited! Going to go this week to get supplies for the beer. I'm thinking Red Ale but I'm open to suggestions. Just remember I don't have a tremendous amount of time to let it condition.

Alrighty, That's one down & that means at least 6 lbs. of crawdads amid other goodies like taters, corn, & smoked sausage :D

Never ordered them before but several websites offer crawdads until fall. I don't know what Floyds Fork or Beargrass Creek is. In any case I intend to order a mess of them in august, I just thought I would invite some like minded folks here that certainly share my love for homebrew & might share...

Several months for sure upwards of a year in most cases I would think but a barley wine is a different animal. A strong barley wine could have 15% ABV or more. It may easily last several years. Most homebrew I would think should be tossed out after a year & half if even that but I don't know...

Honestly wouldn't worry about it. I'm on my second bat h & my first what had funky crap on top that looked like mold but it bottled fine with no particulate in the beer
