    Any Canon DSLR users around?

5D classic and a nifty fifty for now. Got a nice Manfrotto carbon tripod and I'm looking for a flash right now. Fun hobby but damn I think it can hurt the wallet even more than homebrewing.

    LHBS with kegs?

Try craigslist. Just checked DFW quick and found 3 posted the other day for $60 each (ouch!). If you're patient you can probably score a few for a good price. If not throw up a WTB on craigslist and see what you come up with.

How many Bottles do you have?

As far as 22oz bottles you can make friends with the people at the local beverage center and ask them to set aside some as people return them. Ideally they can sell them back to you by just charging you the $.05 or $.10 deposit that it cost them to accept them as a return. If they're nice enough...

How many Bottles do you have?

About 80 or so Grolsch swingtops and a bunch of cornys. I usually bottle stuff that I'd be more apt to share or bring to parties.

    Jack Daniels Keg?

http://www.jdcollectorspage.com/beer.html This will tell you all about it. They had a brewery back in the 90's that did nothing but barrel aged beers. Ahead of its time?

    Brewed too much beer

True!! Carbing then keeping at cellar temp would be fine. Using a beer gun or this.. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f35/we-no-need-no-stinking-beer-gun-24678/ would be ideal to fill the bottles.

    Just starting out with mead...

Pick up a copy of Ken Schramm's the Compleat Meadmaker. My favorite book on the subject. I think he is a HBT'er too. Tons of great information and recipes. Look up his articles online regarding staggered nutrient additions too. I think he updated his stance on the nutrient subject since the...

    What's your favorite fertilizer?

http://www.4hydroponics.com/nutrients/items.asp?ItemNo=medusasMagic Just picked up some of this stuff. It seems real light at 2-5-2 and recommends using at at every watering. All 5 of my plants came up real early in March since the temps got into the 70's for close to a week straight here in...

    I need a brewery name

Coffee County Craft Beer Works? Just something quick off the top of my head after googling Hillsboro.

    Too Late to Plant?

Plant it! I put 2 of my 5 rhizomes in the dirt a few weeks ago and they took off like crazy. I finally got a chance to plant the other 3 yesterday. I'm not expecting a harvest, but I'm hoping to turn that tiny little rhizome into something I can work with next year. If its in a little pot, move...

    Groomsmen Gifts

I got my groomsmen engraved Zippo lighters. If your friends are into cigars, you could add a nice cutter with the lighter.

    beer gas on commercial keg?

Sounds like it would work just fine to me.. just take the restrictor plate out of the stout tap and turn the pressure down.

    New to Kegging-Confused

Once you carb the beer, assuming the keg has no leaks, you can unhook it and age it for as long as you'd like. You can use a corny keg to ferment in also.. they sell kits that adapt the posts/lid for use with an airlock. You would just have to treat it as a primary and transfer to another keg...

    "Pop Rocks" like mouthfeel?

I think what you're describing is due to the high carbonation level of the beer... Duvel for example. Look up the recipe for a Duvel clone and what carbonation levels would be appropriate for the style. This link will help too so you can achieve the high carb without the need for a really long...
