if it doesn"t have a property of.... stamped on it..and you may need to pay for the hydro. go exchange that bad boy. the worst that can happen is they say no.

sometimes they get full of crap,bugs,webs. could be the reg. if you got an air compressor blow that thing out.

according to the farmers almanac's best days. Aug. 15 is good for brewing beer. of course any day is good for that. just thought it was cool enough to share.

ahh.. ok, yes I go right to the keg after primary and works great. alot of brewers do this. I you crash cool the fermenter it will clear and you wont have much yeast in the keg. and wont need to jump it.

did you really do 5 gal. in a 5 gal. keg? how much blow off did you get? Id rack it to second keg. going to be alot of yeast on the bottom.

not 2 or 3 days, but weeks.

toss it. any bump or temp change could finish it off. 5 gal. of wort on the floor isnt going to be good.

Id go wit hot knife to weld it. but anything that would work in a fish tank should be chem free. IMO

my first bottle got me 11 if I remember right. dont think I have matched that number since. but jumping kegs,purging and a leak will make a big of difference. It carbed my 11th but ran out tryn to drink it. so say 10 for the win. and 1 place may fill the bottle up while the old man at the...

I love everything about AG brewing,from making my keggle to putting together my mash tun. but I was damn proud of my extract beers when I started. are my beers better now? hell yes they are, but thats from temp control of fermentation, learning and just doing it more.
