    More than a Kegs worth

I typically brew 5 -6 gallon batches and I keg, but the kegs only hold 5 gallons. I have been bottling the rest with carb drops, but I much prefer the beer that's been on the gas over the ones that are bottle carbed. Has anyone used a carbonation cap to quickly carb a 1 or 2L PET bottle? I...

    No chill in a corny

I use a wort chiller and can get the wort down to pitching temps in about 10-15 minutes. To reduce the water waste, the water that comes out of the wort chiller goes into a spare bucket or 2 that I have and I use it for washing my equipment once I am done. I have to pump through about 10 gallons...

    Calculation for Boil off?

I was wondering if there is a calculator or formula to determine your exact boil off if you have Pre boil gravity and post boil gravity? I do BIAB and I try to have 7G Pre boil. I just want to double check some measurements.

    regulator leak?

I bought a used Regulator and while I was waiting to get some new hoses and cleaning Kegs, I hooked it up to my CO2 tank and opened the CO2 tank. The high pressure gauge shot up to about 800 as expected. I turned off the CO2 and it stayed around 800. I left it until the morning and it had...

I think that i got pretty much all of it off using the flat head, one step sanitizer, Bar Keepers Friend and scrubbing. That BKF sure does get the kegs clean, Looks great now. Thanks guys.

Something on the inside of my keg

Thanks. I was able to scrape pretty much all of it off. Have it soaking again in some one step. Should be able to get it all off. Thanks for the replies.

Something on the inside of my keg

I got some used Kegs and one of them has a weird mark on the inside. At first I thought it was, still could be, but do you think that this keg is garbage or can it be saved? I have attached a picture. I have soaked it in a CLR/water solution for at least a couple hours and this is whats left.
