I got some used Kegs and one of them has a weird mark on the inside. At first I thought it was, still could be, but do you think that this keg is garbage or can it be saved? I have attached a picture. I have soaked it in a CLR/water solution for at least a couple hours and this is whats left.

looks like organic crud to me. Give it a scrape with something like a flat head screwdriver to remove most of it then a few days PBW soak. Repeat if needed.

Thanks. I was able to scrape pretty much all of it off. Have it soaking again in some one step. Should be able to get it all off.

Thanks for the replies.

Try hitting with some Barkeepers friend and a scrubby, that should do the job. It could be soda residue.

I think that i got pretty much all of it off using the flat head, one step sanitizer, Bar Keepers Friend and scrubbing. That BKF sure does get the kegs clean, Looks great now.

Thanks guys.
