Hello all, quick question on organic raspberries. I have 2.5 pounds frozen organic raspberries I'm adding to a hefeweizen I have fermenting now. My question is does anyone have any experience adding organic raspberries directly into secondary or should I go the safe route and pasteurize first? Any feedback is appreciated!

I would freeze them. I do this with my raspberry lager berries. I've done it 5-6 times and always comes out good.

They are frozen now. Should pasteurize them too just to be safe or do you think hAving them frozen is enough?

I've never pasteurized mine. Just froze them. Let them thaw a bit then blended into a purée. Never had any trouble.
