So I used my PH53 meter at least once a week from 2009 - 2010. Stopped brewing from 2011 - 2013 due to buying a fixer and not having the time. Milwaukee states that with proper care ( always keeping the electrode on storage solution you will get 12-24 months life. I'm starting to brew again and thought I would need a new electrode for sure. Nope, it still works great! I always kept it in storage solution in the cap but it dried out sometime over the past 3 years and I thought I was doomed. Anyhoo, for those wondering how many years you'll get outa your electrodes....... I'm at 5 years and still working.
