New Kegerator Set Up

I am about to fill my first keg in a Denby I bought from someone. This is going under my counter and have figured I can get 3 ball locks in it. So I need to build my system and have never done this so far. I want to avoid mistakes. Here is the plan.

The CO2 regulator it came with is a double regulator. Is this sufficient for 3 kegs? I see double body regulators for sale and am not completely sure of the advantage except serving differnet styles of carbination. One website mentioned serving almost emplty and full kegs at the same time. Will that actually be a problem.

Next, I will add 2 taps to the tower. Right off the bat, I am going with Perlicks based on posts I read.

I need gas line and beer line. The gas line installed is red so I assume it is 5/16, and I am sure the gas connector bar I ordered will probably be 1/4" though not specified. I gues I will have to by an adapter of some sort.

I am guessing a 3 way check valve is better than tee fittings, so I plan to order one.

I think that covers it. Any tips I missed or any help?

If you don't have the need to use different pressures for serving or force carbing, a single regulator is fine. Dual is even better so you can have 1 keg force carbing at a higher psi and serve another at a lower. Check valve distributors are nice, but I have personally used T's with no issues. Sounds like you are on the right path!

As for the gas lines, just make sure you have no leaks and I think you're set.

Thanks for the help. I thought I had it covered, but I really didn't want to buy something than replace it right away.
