I brew hard ciders alot mainly with regular apple juice.
About a week ago i saw a gallon of cider for a few bucks, so i picked it up.
Tasted it at home seemed sweet enought to work.
Threw it in the growler
added 1 cup honey 1/2 cup brown sugar
Its been going for a week now ferment stopped, tasted it
WOW sour and winey no sweetness
gonna clear and backsweeten see if i can save it
im going back to juice
anyone else have more luck with regular apple juice?
