Me and my wife picked up brewing a week and a half ago, I needed a new hobby and she wanted something I could do with here. It worked, I haven't played warcraft in almost 2 weeks. Turns out I'd much rather check the carboy in the garage fridge every 2 hrs 
Getting really anxious to try our first batch.
First batch is coming out of the secondary on Thursday. It's a hefe.
Second batch is in the primary as of 2 days ago, it's a BIG stout. You can check it out at the brewmeisters web page under their recipes and then under specialty beers. It's called nosfuratus return. http://www.brewarizona.org/
I also put together a batch of EdWort's Apfelwein last night. I keep reading about it all over so I had to buy a better bottle setup and get some going. It's in my closet at 76 degrees so I hope it turns out okay. No more room in the fridge until thursday.
My wife and I are 27 and we have a 1.5 year old boy. I'm irish, last name O'Loughlin. She's scottish, previous last name McCoy. We figure brewing is in our blood and are glad to be a part of the homebrew community.
