No Hop Aroma??

I just tried my first batch and I am a little bit disappointed. I dry hopped for a week with 1 oz of cascade and the nose on my brew is nothing but malt! It was fermenting for 2 weeks before i started dry hopping, dry hopped for a week then bottled.

Any suggestions?
 
1 oz of cascade is going to be a very subtle aroma. If you want a big aroma you have got to go with more hops. I do a cascade pale ale and I dry hop with 3 oz of cascade for 7 days.

Also if you serve your beer very cold that can hinder aroma. Your aroma will improve as the beer warms.
