im wondering how long eneryones krausen lasts on a 3-6 gal batch as a general rule? so far for me its been like 2-3 days, but i brewed a honey ale last wknd and the krausen is on the 6th day. normal for u guys?
It varies with everything from the grist bill, yeast, temperature, the brewer, the water, etc., etc., etc.
I had them last up to 14 days.
