I've begun pondering dessert beers, and had a crazy idea that may be awful (or actually not that crazy). Has anyone ever tried freezing a Belgian-style Quad? I'm thinking along the lines of an Eisbock goes Belgian.

Do you have your eisbock recipe? I would be curious to know the process you used : how many times you refroze, if you added more sugar and yeast along the way, etc.

Eisquad? Sounds like a cool idea, might turn out a bit sickly sweet unless you really get the fg down.

Coffee is good as well. Sometimes beer isn't the answer, but most times it is.
