My aluminum brew pot has a layer (about half-way form the bottom) of where i used oxyclean and left my wort chiller in (The WORST combo ever, i know). Would it be in my best interest to boil a few gallons of water to remove any possible off-tastes in future batches? Should i just get another brew pot while i RDWHAHB?

Fill the pot up fully and boil the water for an hour (an hour of boiling, not an hour total time). That will rebuild the protective coating. In the future don't use oxyclean to clean the aluminum, if you clean it immediately after brewing it pretty much just requires rinsing and maybe a sponge or light scrubby.

I would use stainless steel wool to remove the visible oxidation first, then what bradsul said, rebuild the protective layer.
