I also need some help...I did some calculating about prices for this--if you were to do a decent clone, you could save some money. But...I can't find the original post that had the BYO (or zymurgy?) clone. I know quite a few have surfaced recently. Anyone know where that post was? I cannot find it for the life of me.....

EDIT: I also didn't realize that the one jldesign posted in the thread/post below, is the BYO recipe too. DUH!

okay....another question. Someone that has that BYO recipe in promash...WTF am I doing wrong to only get 12 SRM from that? Right above the recipe it says SRM of 17, which is definitley closer to the real Hop Rod.

I have the recipe at home, so I'm not sure what my SRM is but I'd guess BYO is using a different Munich malt. The different ones in Promash go from 6L to 30L and everything in between.
