I'm working on my first brewstand (single-tier). I'll be starting off with feggles for the HLT and the BK, and a 10 gal cooler for the MLT, so I'll only need two burners to start.

I'm trying to keep the cost down for now, but I may want to automate in the future (next year, perhaps?). It seems, though, like the burner options are cheap enough right now that it wouldn't break the bank to scrap them in a year.

Would it make more sense to get

(A) two of the 6" agrisupply high pressure burners (http://www.agrisupply.com/cast-iron-high-pressure-burner/p/30295/cn/5400001/), one adjustable regulator (http://www.agrisupply.com/product.asp?pn=50678) to run to my pipe manifold, and two ball/needle valves in the manifold, or

(B) two of the 6" agrisupply low-pressure burners (http://www.agrisupply.com/burner-cast-low-presure-multi-hole-/p/40282/cn/6000138/), two high-pressure orifices, and run it with the same regulator, or

(C) another option?

Hah! A "feggle" is what happens when I try to type "keggle" when I should be asleep :)

I think I'm going to go with option B - two of the low-pressure burners with high-pressure orifices (orifii?) and an adjustable regulator. Anybody foresee any immediate issues with this setup?

I am actually in the same situation. I just got the frame for my stand completed today, but I am unsure what burners I am going to go with. I am a propane guy...which is the best option? 6" Low pressure, 6" High Pressure, or the 10" banjo?

I have both, but I only got the banjo (BG-14) because it was on clearance sale at a local hardware store. I think many people would agree that it's overkill and sucks propane at an alarming rate. It sure looks cool, but I would go with the 6" (BG-12). It's only 10 bucks from agrisupply. The BG-10 is loud but adequate. I guess the positive is that it does not blow out as easily as the other two.

I opted for the 6" low-pressure burners from agrisupply. Now I need to order the high-pressure orifices. Can anybody here tell me what size (pipe connection) orifice I'll need? 3/8" flare?
