I do all of my fermenting in primary, as it has made my beers just better overall. I am now wondering if I can still wash the yeast from my fermentations if I drop hop the ale in primary? Will there be too much hop sediment? I am a huge proponent of yeast washing, so I may rack my dry hopped beers to secondary just to wash the yeast from primary if it is necassary.

I've done it. It was my first wash and took an additional step of washing, but it turned out fine. I was probably not careful enough, so I would say just go ahead and do it.
