Yeast starter question

Anyone ever do a yeast starter for 10 hours or am I doomed for forgetting to do it last night?

I'd do it anyway. You'll get a little bit of growth.

You don't have time to crash and decant so you may as well pitch the whole lot, just hold back a little for your next starter batch.
