Yeast starter length?

I made a yeast starter 4 days ago with the expectation I'd be brewing today...anyways I will not be brewing and I'm wondering what I should do to save the starter for another day (likely next weekend)...Can I just keep it fermenting for another 7 days or should I put it in the fridge??
 
The yeast will have settled to the bottom of your starter container by the time you brew. Will make it easy to decant the wort from over the yeast.
