Brewing a Belgian Pale Ale today. Got an all grain kit from More Beer that came with 3 different yeast strains. Safbrew s-33 Dry yeast, Wyeast Direct pitch activator Belgian abbey, and Wyeast Direct pitch Activator London ESB. Do you think they packed this wrong? Do I pitch all 3 strains into wort at once? Directions dont specify.

That sounds strange. What I would suggest is finding out how much yeast you need by going to www.mrmalty.com. Then figure out how much yeast is in each pack by looking at what each says for cell count and what day they were made (this part probably doesn't matter for dry yeast). You can then figure out how much yeast needs to go in to your beer. Hope this helps.

I think that's probably a goof. At least the S-33 and Belgian Abbey make sense as yeasts you would use, but the London ESB? That would make for a very odd belgian pale. :p

Think I figured it out. The kit actually came with the s 33 dry yeast but when I ordered it I must have upgraded to the Wyeast activator Belgian Abbey. MoreBeer is sneaky like that. That's the one I ended up using for the Belgian Pale. The Wyeast London ESB was for the yeast starter kit I bought separately. They just packaged all the yeast strains together.
