Hey guys, not a regular poster but a long time brewer. Curious to know peoples thoughts on a brew I just done a few days back.
Nothin pretty or special, just 2 coopers Canadian blondes with a couple bags of extra malt chucked in and some us-05 used. Batch in a vessel each. In my haste I pitched my yeast at 28 degrees. I knew it was too high but thought that it might come down just in time for the yeast to get hydrated and then start fast. Now, one of the fermenters has an airlock, yes, it was bubbling after a day, but after a day and a half there's was no krausen forming what so ever. Like I mean nothing.
I decided to pitch the 7g pack of coopers yeast that came with it too. It took off like a damn rocket and the krausen was kickin off within the next 12hrs. Brews smell ok, however in one of the vessels this is here
