Was stuck at the hotel and was reading an interesting article about yeast blending.... Who do it here and what are your results... Just curious, as it look like something I would be interested in trying...
 
it was in the may/june 2013 issue of Zymurgy magazine, article begin on page 32...
 
I have done it. I brewed a tripel using 1214 and 3787. The first time I brewed it the flavor of the 3787 was more prominent. Probably because 1214 is know to be a slow starter. The second time I did it I made a small starter for the 1214 and just pitched a pack of 3787. This produced the balance I was looking for. A very nice tripel. That reminds me, I have some bottles in my basement that are aging ,and I should throw a couple in the fridge.....
