First off don't laugh at me.....

I just went on vacation and stopped into a kitchen store while the wife shopped. Low and behold they had mr beer kits marked down and 75% off. I figured what the hell. I got 3 American Classic light and 1 babe rain weissbeer. The 4 kits costed right at $16..... Then once I got back to the car I figured out why. 3 out of the 4 went out of date on April 9th. Oh well.. I'm guessing the one will be fine but I'm not sold on the yeast. Do yall think they will be okay??? I'm thinking about buying replacement for just to be safe. If I do what would be a good dry yeast: replacement for it for the American classic light. I believe it's supposed to be like Bud light coors light.... (Again don't laugh gonna give it to my buddies mostly to try to open them up to the idea of homebrew) thinking about just using my old faithful us05...

Thanks guys!!!!!!!

You should definitely throw away any yeast that comes with Mr Beer, expired or not, and replace with US-05, Nottingham, or S-04. All great

I think the Basic Brewing guys did some experimenting with Mr. Beer kits and swapped to US-05.

Thanks for the reassurance guys!! That's what I'm gonna do. Prob just gonna combine 2 of the 3 and make a 4 gallon batch and throw it into the 6 gallon bucket fermenter and let it go.
