I've been really lucky in my home brewing efforts. To start I was given my carboys and other brewing equipment from my cousin last August. Then in December a coworker have me 5 corny kegs.

yesterday I was showing my neighbor my kegerator and giving him some beer and he said he has a ten pound co2 tank he doesn't use anymore so he gave it to me as a backup.

Yeah... Way lucky. I can't believe it. I don't believe in fate but it sure seems like the universe wants me to brew... :)

Dang.. The most I ever got for free was a billion Grolsch bottles I'll probably never use with about 2 tons of spider webs in them.

Better than me.. the only thing I have gotten for free is hundreds of Sam Adams bottles.

My best Craigslist finds = 2 x 10 gallon heavy duty stainless steel pots for $100 and a utility sink on a cabinet base with a faucet and plumbing for $70. Had to travel so estimated $20 in gas to go get it.
