Wyeast Special Collections

If the time period has already passed on a particular Wyeast Special Collection, how do we get our hands on one of those cultures? Is it possible Wyeast would re-issue a certain yeast strain if we all got together and requested it?

The ones I am thinking of are from Fall 2008 (The English Ale strains)

I'm waiting for the same strains. Having searched through the forums and on-line HB shops, it looks like we'll, sadly, just have to wait.

I really want to try 1469, which is Timothy Taylor's yeast. I drank as many pints of Timothy Taylor Landlord as I could while in the UK this summer. Heavenly.

I just emailed Tim Taylor's sales rep. We'll see what happens.
