I brewed a citra ipa yesterday, everything went great as far as brewing. I got the wort down to 64 Fahrenheit pitched my yeast and within 12 hours it was bubbling away. I just checked it and the temp is up to 77. Am I going to have a fussed filled batch of fruitiness or will things be ok?

I wrapped the carboy in ice packs to try and bring the temp down.

I cannot comment on 77F fermentation temperatures, but I get a clean flavor from WY1272 when I ferement down 60F to 64F and a bit of fruity flavors when fermenting 66F to 70F.
