You're NOT going to believe it....That was going to be my "worst movie" pick, and I was looking for a poster, since I figured noone would remember it...Then I remembered Metalstorm...

And what was the most repeated line in Timerider? "I thought you were dead...." That was like the joke they drove into the ground.

hehehe, too funny! I'll have to go back and finish it now. :)

I started thinking about all the other horrible early 80's movies that were 'spawned'. Krull, The Pursuit DB Cooper (great story, horrible execution), and that one with Patrick Swayze on the three wheel 'desert / sand sail boat' things...

The one that leaps to mind was literally titled "the worst horror movie ever made" and they weren't lying. as for horrible film that i love: ozone. i'll tell you just this one thing about it-exploding/melting heroin addict. classic.

Ginko biloba kicking in- "the forbidden zone" avoid at all cost. it was like a horrible drama club home video.

Johnny Mnemonic, most definitely (with a special recognition to Battlefield Earth).

Ignore the last couple seconds of the video, whoever posted it on youtube was a bit ridiculous.

Because it's fresh in my mind (watched it last night) The Expendables with Stallone, Li, Statham, Austin, Arnold, Willis and a couple others... HORRIBLE. Quit acting and just blow **** up!

What were you expecting...that's how it was marketed.

I watched ZARDOZ...bad and definitely MST3K-able, but I made it through. Thankskilling on the other hand was too much for me. :ban:

the WORST movie I have ever seen, and im not talking about one thats fun to watch because it's bad, no, the absolute worst there ever was:

THE STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL!

I had heard it was bad, but nothing could prepare me for the horror that unfolded. It is essentially a movie about what happens when you have finished preparing for a holiday party/ meal/ get together and are waiting for the guests to arrive. Thats it.

See: Hours of boredom!

See: Wookies waiting!

See: Attempts to stay occupied!

I will never watch it again. I can't believe I watched the whole thing the first time around.

A few other notable mentions: Eragon (most derivative movie ever), Somewhere in Time (like a time-traveling story from Good Housekeeping), Femme Fatale (home of the soul wrenchingly worst plot twist of all time).

Triple posting it doesn't change the fact that you're disqualified....Yes the Star Wars Holiday special sucked rotten bongwater...ANd has been cited for over 30 years as one of the worst examples of a franchise jumping the shark for a few bucks....

But it was a TV SPECIAL, and NOT a movie.

NEXT!

:D

1 - The Godfather
2 - Pulp Fiction
3 - A Clockwork Orange

Just kidding :)

Really though....the new Indiana Jones flick was pretty horrible. The Day After Tomorrow was also terrible. Big budget != good movie.

Spanglish. Dad and I walked out of the theater with 5 minutes left- we realized there was no possibility of it redeeming itself, so we left.

Two dudes going to see Spanglish together. Heh.

My vote would have to be with The Cook, The Thief, The Wife and the Lover.
I don't remember many other movies that I turned off.

That Skyline movie that's out now. WTF.

It's like the matrix, without the storyline, people don't have ships, there's no alternate world and the robots are aliens instead of robots. Same "the one" character with ****ty, stilted acting. Octopus robots take you and use your brain to power their robots. Main character has female companion that sacrifices herself for him. Bald black guy. Alien robots win.

Seriously a horrible movie with half ass effects.

First off it's Robot Jox. Second, doesn't that movie have a totally hot naked redhead in it? That boosts the rating by a couple of stars in my book. I might be thinking of a different crappy sci-fi film from around that time, though.

I remember being 12 and turning robot jox off. I didn't make it to the chick though........*where is that old tape......* (;))

Man, I was gonna throw you TF out.

Yeah. I knew the new IJ would suck, and man, did it ever.

I would submit that all 3 of the newer STAR WARS Jar Jar era Pieces of SH!T were unwatchable. I tried to get my money back from the video store for the first one.

"Mosquito Squadron" Paid 25 cents to see it (Navy base) and walked out after 30 minutes.

I'm only counting things I've seen in the theater in order to cut down on campy terrible stuff. I'd have to go with Mission Impossible 2. I thought the first Mission Impossible was a great movie until the helicopter went into the tunnel. By the end of that scene, it had dropped from great to decent in my mind. The whole second movie is like one big craptastic helicopter scene. Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle is an honorable mention for the exact same reason. The Matrix also gets an honorable mention for somehow managing to urinate all over 50's and 60's science fiction in a martial arts flick.

Mission Impossible II, a serious wanna-be thriller/action movie downgraded because of unbelieveable (possibly heli related) stunts........worst Ever?..........OK, I can see that.

BUT...........
Charlie's Angels, an action spoof, tongue-in-cheek, action/comedy full of hot chicks kicking ass DOWNGRADED FOR THE SAME REASON AS THE AFOREMENTIONED SERIOUS ACTION MOVIE FULL OF ONE OF HOLLYWOOD's BIGGEST DOUCHES KICKING ASS?????????

OK, the hot chicks kicking ass earns some leniency from me, but can you actually tell me that you thought it was supposed to be taken seriously?;)

OK then, lets bag on TROPIC THUNDER for not being REAL enough. And how about CADDYSHACK?;)

I never really saw Mission Impossible as all that serious but that's neither here nor there. Where both are the same in my mind is the devolution from film 1 to film 2 specifically because the action went so far over-the-top compared to the first film. The first Charlie's Angels movie at worst had some Kung-Fu-related over-the-top action going on. The second had people fist fighting while falling off f'ing bridges.

The first one despite it's silliness could happen. I guess you could train people on how to kick that much ass. The second was flat out ridiculous. Now tell me, is this paragraph about Charlie's Angels or Mission Impossible? The correct answer is "both."

That I have seen in the theater?

Highlander 2 - Also starring Sean Connery, I might add. That man has a knack for making awful films.
Cool World

I see a lot of hate for Highlander 2 but I have to admit I sorta like it. It has its moments. Sean Connery's incredulity towards flying at the very least knocks it off any worst movie list for me.

it is interesting that you vote the bad movies you ever watched but there is no worst film for me "when happiness knocks the door" is the best i ever watched
