last time I used 08 it took about 4 weeks to clear. Not a good quick turnaround yeast.
 
Yes, this is a 2 year old post. But I was looking for info on WLP008 and the search function brought me here. I'd like to update this post with my observation so far. I brewed a very basic 1.050 APA yesterday, and made a 500 ml starter with this strain. It started fermenting in about 2 hours, and the next day when I checked on it, it is about 1.5 inches from the airlock in my carboy! I may need a blowoff tube for it! It is fermenting in a 56 degree room, and the thermometers on the side of my glass say 66. IT'S a vigorous fermenter, I must say!

I can't comment on flavor yet!
 
I really like that strain in blonde ales. A bunch of brewers on here really don't like it though. It was always super clean for me, but most def needs a cold crash or gelatin to clear quick.
