will this temp control work

This isn't the stc-1000. I thought it was. I purchased it without looking close. has anyone bought this one? I hope I dont have an issue with it

It looks to my inexperienced eye like that one is a single stage controller, meaning that it is only capable of one process, heating or cooling. Whereas the others can work to heat and cool.

It should work fine as long as you only use it for cooling (or heating).
