Will this starter strategy work?

I did a starter out of the dregs of another starter that I had. It bubbled like crazy. Unfortunately, I didn't take an OG.

My question is, do you think it will work OK? I know that most of you talk about splitting your tube in half for the starter, but will this be sufficient?

If you've got more yeast than what you started with, then it worked.
