(All grain porter 1.050. 5 gal batch. plastic fermentor)

So everything went well (brew, pitch, lag)

Fermented for 2 days at 66 and good bubbling. At some point, for 17 hours the mini fridge controller got unplugged. and must have slowly rise to 77. When I opened the fridge there was no bubbling in the airlock so i'm hoping this happened at the tail end of fermentation.

Should I expect some off flavor?

I really dont think you will have off flavors with this. Raising the temperature slowly first in the room and then raising the temperature of a 5gal batch takes time. Especially if its not a radical change.

Off flavors develop during the active part of fermentation, and I bet the bulk of active fermentation happened during those first two days when temperature was under control. You're probably good.

If you do have anything, depending on the yeast it will be very slight. Like if you were using WLP300 you would probably have a touch of banana
