Hi all,

I just brewed a 10 gallon batch of pale with enough hops for about 30 IBUs. It's been in the bottle for only 3 days and is carbonating away but I have a question - I popped one yesterday just to see where the taste was going and it was pretty sweet. I'm wondering if that will settle out after a couple weeks?? The grain bill was 19 lbs 2 row, 1lb Vienna, 1lb caramunich, 1lb cara-vienna.

Thanks much!
Mikey.

It might be a little sweet given the amount of crystal you used - even for a 10 gallon batch. But some sweetness will fade as the priming sugar you put in is fermented and is replaced by CO2.
