Resurrecting this old thread because my wife has requested 5 Gal of a Brrr clone for her "Brrrthday." Looking for any pointers people who have tried to brew this beer may have for me.
Most of the recipes I am seeing seem to come up short on color (which Widmer has at 23 SRM !!!) and sweetness. From what I am seeing (and tasting) there is a tremendous amount of Crystal Malt. Also, from what I taste and smell, there is a tremendous amount of hops in the finish.

IBU: 50
SRM: 23
