ok.. the banner at the top of the page keeps nagging me to make a first post! so here it is. Stumbled over the forum and thought I would check it out. Looks like alot of good info. Looking forward to seeing more of it.

I started beer brewing off of kits a month ago, I am on my 3rd kit now, and started gathering supplies and reading info for the trip to all grain. I have been doing wine for about a year now (my wife is a big wine fan and started asking me about it, me, I prefer beer.) Finally decided to try my hand at beer and it is as much fun (or maybe even more) as wine making.

Anyways.. back to learning. Thanks for providing a pleasant place to do research and learn from others experiences. Look forward to becoming a contributing member of the forum.

Welcome to HBT! :mug:

Be warned this site can be informative as well as fun.

It can also assist in your addiction to home brewing. :rockin:

Hey enewman, welcome! This is a fun place to share information, lurk and eve poke fun at EAC's :D

Be sure to try some Apfelwein. It's easy to make (takes only 10 minutes of work and 4 to 6 weeks of patience) and very tasty with a 8.5% kicker.
