Lol. I am with you JC. Things in the world no longer make sense. Don't try.

At some point the world got sucked into the bad acid trip of a dead circus clown. Watched any politics lately?

Nothing makes sense anymore.

Has anyone noticed how all the back-to-school ads are using songs from the late 80's and early 90's???

I just heard a recorder (flute) version of "Push it!" by Salt'n'Peppa, and that's just ONE of them...

Gawd this sucks. Loses its street cred.

MC

Who the hell are Salt'n'Peppa??? Late 80's and early 90's music is too recent and really sucked balls!!!

It's all we watch. That's part of the problem.

I quit watching the news and refuse to join facebook. Couldn't be more happy. My wife lets me know when something important is happening in the universe! I follow sports, listen to a little npr, and discover interesting stories via friends and the interwebz and don't feel I'm missing much.

It's not news, it's political opinion nowadays. Everyone has their spin.

And I really enjoy Push it, push it REAL GOOD!

So go take a flying leap!

Just saw it. WTF! In a Chrysler 300 of all things? If it was some wild-ass Dodge Challenger that's souped up to the gills, MAY BE, then, JUST MAY BE.

MC

I didn't really get the commercial all that much, I guess they are trying to play on the we are from Detroit theme, since all three (very very loosely) have that in common. That is if you consider Chrysler is a Fiat (Italy) product, and the 300 is built in Brampton Ontario (Canada), and appears to have Daimler (German) styling. However I am guessing the american public will go for it. Hey at least Iggy and John Varvatos grew up in Detroit.

The sad part is I had to explain many of the other things in the commercial to a more than a few people. including 315 Bowery, iggy pop, and CBGB.
