Virgin brew, in the hustle of hopping I grabbed my maltodextrine pack and dumped. Not realizing it was 16oz instead of 8! It's a hop devil ipa clone.
What have I done ? Is it a goner? Any advice would
Be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks! I'll relax and wait it out then.

That's about all ya can do now. Taste it after it's done fermenting, but while it's in primary, if it's too full bodied for the IPA you were going for, up the dry hops (assuming it's dry hops), or dry hop it generously if it's not. I've never brewed an IPA with any maltodex in it, but I know that it just adds a touch of body/mouthfeel to the beers I have used it in, so I'm guessing your brew's gonna be fine. 'Specially if you have lots of hops on hand. :rockin:
