Kind of a funny story....

it was the Morning AFTER my high school graduation party. The Keg of Rolling Rock wasn't kicked yet, so my parents asked if I wanted a beer.... I said, sure... then my 19yo sister said sure, then my 21 year old brother said sure, and my mom and dad decided they wanted some... and our neighbor....

Essentially, my whole family and neighbor got nice and tipsy at 10am monday morning.

Definately was a luke warm plastic cup of Beast Light out of a keg. Disgusting but it got me drunk. Over the course of freshman year I continually forced myself to like beer (the reason it took a while was because I was drinking all BMC or worse). By sophmore year I liked beer.

7-8 years later now, I looove beer

Edit:
totally forgot that my dad used to give me a sip of his "barley pops" everyonce and a while, mostly as a joke. When I was five years old I asked my dad, what is that? He said its apple juice. He gave me a sip and I said, Dad no! that's beer as he laughed.

Labatt Blue.
Molson Canadian.
Pilsner.

might have been "a bit before legal drinking age" and I recall thinking "that's gross."

Years later--here I make my own!

The usual super-cliche story-- when I was a youngster dad let me sip some coors in the backyard after doing some yard work. I didn't like it!

First full beer was a case of MGD I found behind my house in the woods when I was 16 or so. Fake sicked the next day and had that case down by 10 AM :mug: I'd had drinks of Coors before though at friends but never full beers.

No idea how it came into my possesion, but it was a warm Busch can in the woods behind my house. I couldn't stomach it, and left like 1/4 the can for the slugs.
I was 10 or 11.
But I had been sipping off my dad's Silver Bullets and mom's wines as far back as I can remember.
Strangely, my dad drinks decent beer these days. I haven't seen a Coors can in his fridge in years.

My dad absolutely loves it when I come over. He drinks the cheapest beer on the shelf because he drinks soooo much beer. When I come over, I bring a six or twelve pack of craft beer or homebrew, and we will sit around all day (or two days) ENJOYING it rather than just drinking a bunch. He says "I just can't see spending that much on it, but I figure you are making up for all the hell you put me through."
