I'm very well aquainted with the Wiccan culture; my ex-wife was very much into the practice. I've been to many a Beltane celabration among all the others...Sowhain, etc. I just find it curious how you link Christ into Wiccan belief. I myself have always been Christian and I was very well aquainted with someone who was originally Wiccan; but later considered themself Essoteric Christian. To themself personally, there was still a separation between the two beliefs.

I guess I feel I can embrace the two because I believe Jesus reached the highest level of godliness or spiritual awakening during his lifetime as a human of anyone else ever documented, therefore the true Son of God and Savior of the World. IMHO the only one who got even close was the prophet who ascended into heaven and did not experience a human death. (Was it Elijah?, cant remember at the moment). Of course Mohammed, Ghandi, Sister Theresa, etc. achieved more than I could ever encompass.

I also believe in Mother Earth, Maiden/Mother and Crone. I believe the Bible contains the Truth, but not the whole truth when it comes to Women. too many times in the Old testament it reads "People and Women". Inferring that women were less than. I believe Moses' sister was a prophetess and performed miracles but it just got left out. According to the Bible the first one to see Christ in the state of "risen" was female and so therefore all the Popes should have been women.

A few times in my life when I was in a state of devastation, the only way I can describe it is thus: "My heart was breaking for the entire world". I believe that Jesus felt that way BUT magnified by a billion. Thats why he allowed himself to be crucified for me.

I'm a borderline conspiracy nut and believe college for 95% of the population is a waste of time and money. If ya cant read it and figure it out (with a minimum of assistance) yourself you probably are either too stupid, too lazy, or just dont need to know it and we are wasting 4 years of effort to try and teach you it anyway. IMHO you would be better served to get off your ass put the beer bong down and get a job and actually LEARN what you will be doing for a living instead of learning a bunch of useless hippie propaganda.

I chose to stay away from all tobacco products entirely until 6 months ago. I researched the data and deliberately made the decision to start smoking cigars and pipes now that I am willing to take the associated risk. Still stay away from cigarettes and inhaling any kind of smoke.

I definitely consider myself conservative. But many conservatives associate some of my stances with liberals (for instance, my opposition to drug prohibition). I am not afraid to vote 3rd party - we currently have an echo, not a choice of parties in the USA.

I pursue absolute truth and change my beliefs accordingly. I have found that the Biblical Christian worldview most accurately describes and represents objective reality. I don't preach down anybody's throats but I can give reasons why I believe what I believe and would love to chat with anyone who is on a similar pursuit of truth. I also believe we are in the time of Galileo again: The collective church is resisting pure scientific progress and losing credibility fast because of it, even though the new science makes a better case for the God of the Bible than the worldview they refuse to let go of. God has common sense too. I have yet to find a body of people in my area big enough to be called a church that shares this perspective.

'00 VW Passat wagon, but with a 50+ mile-each-way commute and gas threatening $4/gal this summer, I'm shopping for a motorcycle right now.

Polite and soft-spoken in person. I do my best to get along with all personality types. Tend to get along better with people older than me than those younger than me. However, I'm known to be a smart@#% at times.

Hmmm... why do you have to ask if someone "believes" in it? If the thermometers say the temp has gone up then it's gone up. To say otherwise would be like saying God created a light wave in mid-stream so it would hit our telescopes at precisely the right angle to make it LOOK like it was 5 billion years old. There's nothing to "believe" in as long as we're talking the cold hard facts of the 1500-year climate cycles. But if you're talking about the political movement to control the lives of the masses, ruin the world's economy and exterminate billions of people just because the weather is changing... yes I believe that movement exists and no I don't believe in its cause.

I played warlock in a MMORPG called World of Warcraft for nearly two years. My warlock is all decked out in epic gear from the 40-man raid content (through BWL and some AQ if anyone cares). Do I believe that the earth is warmer than in 1900? Yes. Do I believe that it is caused by man? I have yet to be convinced. Especially when I just saw 400,000 year graph that shows a temperature rise 400 to 4,000 years ahead of a rise in CO2.
