white wisps?

I'm on day 2 of fermentation with my red ale, and things look great so far! Nice activity, nice krausen, great colors... but I just noticed these little white wisps. I've never seen that happen before. Strangely, they don't concern me too much. Maybe because everything else looks great. Still, I'm curious as to what they are.

it kinda looks like some krausen got stuck to the side, and the carboy moved around enough to give it the swirl effect. pretty cool looking, my carboys just look like someone ralphed in them.

It's just yeast doing yeast stuff.

Flocculating yeast.
And they get embarrassed if you stare...
