Hello, I bottled my Brown ale yesterday, but today I noticed some whitish film on top of the beer. Its very dense and if you move it it sticks to the sides of the bottles. Any Idea what that is?

Thanks

I don't bottle condition much these days but maybe it's the yeast kicking back up from the priming sugar. If it were me I'd pop one open and try it.

It could just be a tiny member of the elusive bottle krausen family. You sometimes get krausens in bottles since the carbonation process is a mini fermentation with a top fermenting yeast. I've had a few on occasion.

here is a picture. I opened a bottle and it taste ans smells Yeasty, nothing off.
