Yesterday I brewed an extract Saison. I have always used Irish Moss. Another brewer recommended Whirlfloc. I used one tablet per label instructions at last 15 minutes of boil. Today, I have blobs of protein floating in my carboy. Its not what I want to see. Can it be filtered out? will cold crashing send it to the bottom before racking?, or should I dump it out and write it off as a lesson learned.
