So I just received my beer kit from Midwest Supplies with dry yeast. I will not be making my first batch until Saturday morning. So I am just wondering where I should store my kit until Saturday morning when I am ready to brew.

For three days, I'd just leave it in a cool dry place (assuming nothing is opened). For example, my basement/brewery is around 62 degrees these days. Refrigerating it would just encourage moisture or condensation to build up, perhaps.

If I wasn't brewing that day, put the yeast and hops in the fridge. The rest can sit out in a cool, dark, dry place. I would then pull the yeast out a few hours before you start to brew everything up.

I have a kit from Midwest that I purchased in October sitting unopened in the box and in a nice warm dry place. I expect it will be fine there until I have time in January or February to brew it. The only things that I would worry about are the yeast (better if kept cooler) and the crushed grain (did you have them crush them for you? They do that at no extra charge but they need to be used sooner as they will oxidize).
