Can someone recommend a couple of on-line shops that sell solenoids, pilots, thermocouples etc ?
I need a shop that ships overseas.
I havn't decided on asco vs honeywell etc - does anyone have any advise ? Im currently thinking asco 8210G075 but Im not sure if it can work with a thermocouple.

I got mine off of eBay. I got mine fairly cheap. Think about $20 each. Mine are rated at 15psi, but I only run at 1/2-1psi.
Be sure to reference the ASCO site to see if they are Normally Closed valves, max pressure is within range of your propane/NG pressure.
Are you using 110v, or 24v, 12v etc?

Also do an eBay search for Solenoid Valves. Also check out the eBay vendor: valvesforprojects
The solenoid valves he sells have been used by some people on this forum with success.

Thanks.
Im using high pressure LP (and 220v) which rules out the Honeywell valves which are designed for low pressure. Looks like Im going to use the ASCO 8210G075 and Honeywell standing pilot light and thermocouple.

If I can find an international source for the low pressure gas heating valves, that would be the safest way to go, otherwise there is a cheaper alternative to the ASCO valves for high pressure.
After a bit of searching for a Honeywell source I found this

ECC EMEA Headquarter
Honeywell Technologies Sàrl
Environmental & Combustion Controls Division
Z.A. la Pièce 16
1180 Rolle
Phone: +41 (0)22 695 3000
Not sure if it helps or not, not easy to find suppliers outside North America
