So we all know it's Christmas, and we all know we are all sneaking on here when family isn't looking. Sp, where are you celebrating from?

Before I continue on, we should all take a moment to say thank you to all the men and women serving in our military that must spend the holidays yet again away from home. We hope you all make it onto the boat/plane home soon if you have not already. Thank you for everything you do, and Merry Christmas!

Ashley is working, and my step son is in Michigan for the holiday so we are just hanging out. We will celebrate next week with her family. My family is here, but we do our best to avoid them LOL. In any event she won't get out of work for another 8 hours, and has to work tonight. Not easy on a pregnant woman :(

+1 to the thanks and well wishes for our servicemen and women.

Christmas for my family typically comes in three parts. We visited my in-laws Friday night and yesterday. This involved a trip to a brewery and a couple of wineries. We are visiting my mom today and my dad tomorrow. None of the drives are more than an hour and a half, so it's not too bad. Though, the miles add up quickly. We have a couple of friends visiting on Tuesday for sure, and maybe a couple more visits during the week. I was fortunate to have a four day weekend. People would've been coming to see us, otherwise.

Christmas Eve with Mom's side of the family, Christmas Day with Dad's side back in town. Going to Minnesota tomorrow to see my ladyfriend who has been in Ecuador for the past five months. All in all, a pretty enjoyable holiday season, I believe.

All of my family comes here for Christmas. Plenty of food and drinks to go around. My house is the place where, if you don't have anywhere to go on Christmas, you're welcome here. Should be a good time for sure.

Woke up with my Wife and kids nice and early. Opened all the presents Santa left, had a nice big breakfast, playing together now, church later today then Christmas dinner with anyone that wants to come over. Finally get to do Christmas at home all day with both my kids! Perfect Christmas!

Our "new" home. Same as last year but a new roof, new bathroom, total paint-out and a major rebuild in the Great Room, including one wall and flooring. Thought about going to the country place, but decided to stay in town.

Spending Christmas with my girlfriends parents in Florida this year. Her first time being back for the holidays since she moved to Philly a few years ago.

Got a book of 200 commercial clones with some of my favorite beers in it and some sweet pilsner glasses from Okinawa, sent from her sister, whose husband is stationed with the air force over there. Super stoked.

Work, blah. Although its the first time I have ha to work Christmas in about 4 years now, can't complain.

Home at the apt in MA I share with my ex-bf (it's a long story).

I couldn't justify spending all that money to go visit family in IL (saving up for a move in the Spring) and he has no family to visit. My sis sent me some cute videos of my niece and nephew opening the gifts I sent them (extreme cuteness) - and I called earlier today and talked to the parents and my sis. So...

It's food, beer, beer, food, catching up with stuff on the DVR, and for me - World of Warcraft. The apt. is warm and quiet, and my ex and I have agreed to a no-drama policy over the holiday weekend, so yeah.. it's good.

I'm definitely thinking of folks who have it a lot worse than I do right now. Folks serving in the military away from those they love, folks who have lost their homes or are struggling just to put food on the table (let alone holiday gifts).

Definitely counting my blessings today.
