I am the opposite. I ALWAYS pour my bottled bear into a frosted mug, but when I have a nice can of craft brew I just pop the top and start drinking. I just like the taste better like that. I think most people are opposite of myself though..

I actually had an interesting experience with Alchemist's Heady Topper in can. This is an amazing IPA, so naturally I thought that I should pour it into a glass. However, the can suggests drinking from the can so that as much of the hop aroma is left in solution. It was the dankest, craziest hop experience I've ever had, and it was from a can. I couldn't believe it. Screw the aroma!
I actually think PBR is one of the best bets as far as cheap beer goes.

If the restaurant/bar/friend doesn't have a good craft beer, or something like a Boston Lager or Yuengling, I'll have a sweet tea or soda. And that's not because I am snobby, but because I don't usually enjoy the taste of most mass-produced American light and standard lagers very much.
Red solo cup mofos... Hahaha
I never used to pour cheap beers into a glass, then did it with a few recently. Not knocking anyone else's opinion, but I think it makes them taste worse
I still get harassed for pouring craft/microbrews into a glass by some friends.
