When to bottle

Hi folks. So I started my batch of pale ale (barons beer kit) on June.10th. On June 16th I racked it into the carboy with a gravity reading of 1.012 (see photo)

I was told by a friend to transfer back into primary add the sugar and bottle after 7 days which would be on the 23rd of June and then leave the bottles for 14 days. But the instructions I have say to leave it in the carboy for 14 days then bottle and leave for another 14 days. Which one would be correct? This is what it currently looks like right now

Seems a little early, however of you hit your gravity I dont see why not. Though most fermentations take about 14 days. I would make sure you get consistent gravity readings three days in a row and then go to bottle

When it comes to reading instructions on when to bottle... throw them out. Many things factor in to how long it takes until your beer is ready to bottle. Like the guy above me said, when your at your FG for about three days straight you should be safe to bottle.

When it's at a stable FG & settled out clear or slightly misty,I bottle it.
