When to add cane suger to a cream ale

I will be brewing The Jamil Show - Cream Ale. The recipe calls for 1 lbs of cane suger. At what point do you add this?

you can add it anytime, the start of the boil, just as long as it has atleast 10minutes to boil. im doing this recipe soon and will probably add it at the beginning of the boil
 
Just finnished brewing. I add the suger at the last 10 min. Got a SG of 1058. Thanks for the input
 
I racked this onto a washed yeast cake of Jamil's Blonde Ale and already fermenting 2 hs later
