Hi,
I've been Gluten Free for 5 years and have gotten fed up with the lack of beer I can drink. More importantly I've needed a good porter or stout to drink without feeling sick the next 5 days.

Well, I found a recipe under your GF section. Went and bought a kit, ingredients, and a keg and now I'm brewing. Just racked into the secondary. Not sure if it will end up OK, but I'm hooked either way.

Thanks,
B

Welcome!

I'm curious to see how this turns out for you. I've totally ignored Gluten Free brewing until recently, when a friend's wife mentioned how much she misses beer since she's gone Gluten Free. She said she's tried GF beers and never liked any of them.

I've been wondering if it's possible to make a GF batch that she'll like. I checked out the GF section here and some of the recipes look pretty good but I have no idea how good they REALLY are, you know?

Which recipe did you do?

I did the Chocolate Coffee Stout. It's not very Stout looking so we'll see how it turns out. I'll try the no nonsense stout next as that seems to have lots of great results.

HTH,
B
