i was wondering if any of you guys could help me i want to make a recipe that calls for .25 lbs of wheat malt. would this be unmalted, white wheat, red wheat. what does it generally mean when it just says "wheat malt". thanks for any help in advance.

Wheat MALT would tell me, malted wheat.

At #.25 it wont contribute much besides some protien for head retention. I typically use pale wheat... cant really go wrong there.

In such a small quantity, it wont matter much if it is red or pale wheat malt.
